 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actress, comedian and activist Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents She began her career as a child actor just after emigrating to United States. She is best known for her appearances in AT&T commercials on TV. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020). The commercials she appeared in were not the only thing she appeared in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). Also, she was a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub has also been the voice for Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, following her appearance in the TV pilot that was never aired New Warriors. Vayntrub is was a Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. When she was just two she left with her parents to U.S. to escape antisemitism. She settled in West Hollywood. When she was five she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit the school in her sophomore year. She was able to get an GED and later obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
