Adar Gandelsman

Adar Gandelsman is an Israeli model from Israel. She was Miss Israel 2017's runner-up and received the title Miss Universe Israel. Adar participated in the Miss Universe 2017 Pageant in Las Vegas but didn't place. Gandelsman and Miss Universe Iraq Sarah Idan shared a photo during the pageant. Idan as well as her family fled Iraq in 2017 following outrage from Iraqi citizens. Gandelsman also took a selfie together with Miss Israel. Gandelsman is an Israeli citizen from Ashkelon, Israel. Her parents were Ashkenazi Jews, who came to Israel in 1992, originating from Brazil. [1][2(see 2 for a second) Adar (her first name) is Hebrew for Hebrew calendar month.
